The Issachar training center, the training arm of the Issachar Ministries, is a part of a kingdom initiative to build God’s people for His glory. Its present focus includes helping to prepare God’s people for the coming awakening, and the challenging times ahead. The more we are built according to His divine order, the more of His glory we will experience. Then we will become better extensions of His person and ministry.
1 Chronicles 12:32 says: “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.” More than ever, the Body of Christ needs the anointing of Issachar. This grace helps with supernatural insights into God’s programs and their timely and accurate implementation.
This was a time of transition of the kingdom from the house of King Saul to the house of King David. Understanding the times was crucial in order for Israel to make an accurate transition, thus, bringing forth God’s purposes correctly. The Body of Christ is transitioning from one pattern or order to another–a paradigm shift. God is forming new wineskins for the new wine He is about to pour out (Luke 5:36-39). For some, this will require not just a paradigm shift but also structural adjustments in order to successfully contain the new wine. In this season of shifting and alignment, the Issachar grace, anointing or ministry gift is very relevant for a more accurate transition: It is helpful in carrying the burden of the Lord, and us being where God is rather than being where God was. We also need this not just to be current with the move of God but also for the more challenging times we are entering.
The Issachar anointing is a twin-anointing or a double grace: … having understanding of the times correlates with the prophetic dimension and knowing what Israel ought to do correlates with the apostolic dimension. The prophetic aspect sees what is on the heart of God, hears what He is saying per time and season, and voices it (Amos 3:7-8). The apostolic aspect takes that which is seen, heard and spoken in the spirit and implements it in the natural– it helps people experience the reality of it. God wants to bring not just individuals but also nations and countries unto Himself (into His glorious purposes). Given the urgency of the times, He is releasing more double graces and anointings to accomplish His purposes.
Globally, a shifting continues as the church is in a season of alignment. Critical to our progress is being current with understanding the times and seasons and knowing what to do to accurately prepare and move with God. God is emphasizing the building of His church (more of people as His dwelling place than buildings) as He desires to reveal more of His glory and power in and through the church.
“When the LORD shall build up Zion, He shall appear in his glory.” Psalms 102:16 (emphasis is mine).
We are excited because we know that the times we are about to enter in will be more glorious and we will experience His presence like never before. The Word of God will prevail even more and there will be an increase of supernatural occurrences and divine encounters both inside and outside of church buildings. Out of more than 25 supernatural occurrences in the Book of Acts, only one happened in the temple building (at the Gate of Beautiful). The rest happened through the Apostles, but outside the temple building, in homes and the surroundings. The move of the Holy Spirit will not be limited to any building. A greater manifestation of the outpouring of the Spirit is coming and revivals will be widespread. It will affect both the church and the different systems of the world: The family, educational system, economics, politics, science and technology, media and entertainment, and arts, sports and culture.
If we are to cooperate with God and experience the full blessings of the coming awakening, then we must know that God doesn’t follow us, our programs or our times. Our faith journey and relationship with God should be progressive. He is moving, we have to always adjust and follow Him and His timing. Following the cloud is the safest way to transition from Egypt to Canaan. Being rightly positioned is a major factor in preparing for the coming awakening. Positioning is both spiritual and physical. The “where” affects the “what”. Divine presence, provisions, protection and impact are more guaranteed when one is divinely positioned. Please position yourself for a new release.
